According to studies, Dr.ToshikiFukutsudzi, a Japanese physician, invented the device. This workout not only helps you lose weight, but it also improves your posture and strengthens your back.

Any excess layer of fat around the belly button, according to the doctor, is the result of pelvic misalignment. According to him, this exercise can help you lower your waistline by correcting your pelvis positioning.

How to do this Japanese towel exercise:

  1. You must first roll a medium-sized towel into a cylinder before beginning the activity (4 inches wide).
  2. Place your towel roll on a flat and hard surface, such as the floor, a yoga mat, or a massage table.
  3. Now lie down on your back with the towel directly beneath your navel.
  4. Place your feet shoulder-width apart, with your first two toes touching.
  5. Make sure your pinkies are touching each other as you stretch your arms above your head, palms down.
